What do you think? The Return of...

Do you think I've illustrated one too many times from The Lord of the Rings? I caught a student of mine posting this picture on the bulletin board outside my office the day I returned from missing a day of teaching (make sure you read the words at the bottom of the pic).

Perhaps you should post your Christmas wish list for OTHER reading material (or DVDs) under this poster.

That is cool. You need to frame it and put it in your study at home.

If you want this professionally printed...shoot me the file...I'll do a 30 by 40 color poster and send it to you at NO CHARGE...you can post it in the classroom! This is great! Rickster...

Dan,

Don't you just love student humor! I could probably relate a number of incidents with Dr's Brown and Carter, along with Mr. Thomas, in which student humor added to the college experience in ways that are unforgettable.

I agree, you should have the picture framed and preserved for future generations. I have tried to use it as a background on my desktop, but it comes out too big for the screen. Being technologically challanged, I'll have to have one of my computer literate friends help me format it. In the meantime, I am forwarding it to Dea at her office.

It's wrong...all wrong, I say.

Obviously, your students have not yet figured out what I know -- that you're Froddo!

Your fellow Hobbit,

Sam

I think your students might have a little to much free time on their hands?!
I Like it! Hope you guys have a great Christmas!
